Wesam M. Altamimi, D.D.S. brings more than 23 years of experience in dentistry. A graduate of the University of Mosul Dental School, Dr. Altamimi completed his clinical board examination at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, ensuring advanced training and competency within U.S. dental standards. He is highly skilled in general, cosmetic, and emergency dentistry.

“I look forward to providing quality, affordable care to the La Mesa and El Cajon community,” says Dr. Altamimi. “Building relationships with patients is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and I am truly passionate about meeting each person’s unique needs.”

Dr. Altamimi is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of oral and maxillofacial conditions. He prides himself on delivering exceptional dental care with a genuine, compassionate approach. His philosophy focuses on relieving pain, addressing emergencies promptly, and creating individualized treatment plans that support long-term oral health and prevent future problems.

Dr. Altamimi also gives back to the community through volunteer work with Cura Smiles, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free and low-cost dental care to underserved populations.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Altamimi is a devoted father to four beautiful children and enjoys spending time with his three beloved dogs. He also enjoys traveling, boxing, weight lifting, paddle boarding, camping, and exploring the many hiking trails around San Diego.
